From the Filipino word meaning 'to press', Pindot is a mechanical keyboard keycap brand eager to show love for personal customization and culture. This brand takes the form of an online store showcasing three sets of keycaps inspired by Filipino flavors: Ube, Pandan, and Halo-halo! Displayed on this website are my own 3D models of these keycap designs and a tangible packaging set to represent the uniqueness of Filipino culture.
As my senior design project, I wanted to go above and beyond. Since web design is somewhere inside my comfort zone, I wanted Pindot to be more than that. Although mockups would have been less time-consuming, I wanted to take this project to the next level by creating my own 3D mockups by learning Blender, a 3D creation software.
